A leading, multi‑location hospitality organization is seeking a hands‑on, detail‑driven Staff Accountant to support robust financial operations across a high‑volume, service‑focused environment. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and month‑end adjustments
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations
- Support multi‑unit P&L preparation, variance analysis, and financial reporting
- Assist with AP/AR processing, vendor management, and payment cycles
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Support audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and reconciliations
- Monitor cash flow activity and support treasury functions as needed
- Partner with operations leaders to resolve discrepancies and improve financial accuracy
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and KPI tracking across multiple locations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years of accounting experience; hospitality, restaurant, or multi‑unit experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS) and accounting/ERP systems
- Experience with high‑volume cash environments
- Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
