We have partnered with a well-established and growing national law firm to identify an experienced Litigation Paralegal based in West Palm Beach, FL.
Hybrid Schedule: 3 Days In Office / 2 Days Remote,
This is an opportunity to join and help build out a growing Fraud & Recovery litigation team, supporting sophisticated and complex matters from inception through trial. The ideal candidate will have a strong general litigation background, with experience in fraud and recovery matters, insurance defense, and/or medical-record-intensive litigation highly preferred.
The firm is seeking someone who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, can work independently, manage multiple priorities, and provide strong litigation support throughout the life of a case. Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients, experts, witnesses, opposing counsel, and court personnel regarding case status and litigation matters
- Organize and maintain detailed case files, litigation databases, correspondence, and supporting documentation
- Draft, review, and assist with filing legal documents including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, discovery requests, discovery responses, and exhibits
- Assist with all stages of discovery including document production, privilege logs, and written discovery
- Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, mediations, court appearances, and meetings
- Conduct factual investigations and legal research utilizing legal research platforms and other available resources
- Review, organize, and summarize medical records, case documentation, and other evidence in document-intensive matters
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation including organizing exhibits, evidence, witness files, and trial materials
- Manage document collection, organization, and production while ensuring compliance with court rules and deadlines
- Support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation from case inception through trial
Qualifications
- 5 years of litigation paralegal experience preferred
- Experience supporting complex litigation matters from inception through trial
- Strong experience with pleadings, discovery, depositions, subpoenas, court filings, and trial preparation
- Experience in insurance defense, fraud and recovery, commercial/business litigation, or other complex civil litigation strongly preferred
- Experience reviewing and organizing medical records, preparing medical chronologies/summaries, or supporting medical-record-intensive matters is highly valued
- Strong understanding of litigation procedures, court rules, and filing requirements
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with attorneys and legal teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and litigation case management software preferred
