What You Will Do:
The Intake Coordinator manages the participant referral and admission process in consultation with the Program Director, Residential Manager, and Program Clinical Supervisor. The Intake Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for referral sources seeking services from FF residential programs in Northern and Southern California. The Intake Coordinator manages and oversees all aspects of the intake process including initial contact, screening, ensuring eligibility, gathering documentation (i.e. clinical history, placement history), coordinating with referral sources (i.e. counties, regional centers), educating families, and onboarding clients into the program, all while maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to regulations.
The Intake Coordinator will interact with staff, participants, and the community in a personable, professional, and helpful manner. The Intake Coordinator participates in other duties as required by the Residential Manager, Program Director, and/or to meet operational needs of the program.

Pay/Benefits at a Glance:
- Pay range is between $70,304 - $89,434.15 per year. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
- 21 PTO Days per year

Qualifications:
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
- Ability to work independently, exercising discretion and independent judgement with respect to matters related to programmatic functions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver high customer service standards to participants, families, referral sources and other community partners.
- Detail and task orientated with the ability to manage multiple sources of information.
- Collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.
- B.A. Degree in a social sciences field
- Meet the minimum training and experience requirements of CA’s Division of Community Care Licensing.
- Demonstrated baseline knowledge of third-party payer systems (i.e. managed care plans, county contracts, regional center funding) preferably in a residential setting.
- Experience with electronic health records preferred.
In addition to the education requirement the following experience is required:
- A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the residential and/or mental health field
- A minimum of one (1) years in an administrative position.
