Bowling Mechanic/Center supervisor (PT/FT)- (AMF-82-70 machines) – PART TIME

- Part-Time 717-249-2711 Overview: The Technician/ supervisor is responsible for all the operations of AMF 82-70 bowling machines. His/her job is to oversee, maintain, and repair bowling machines. We have a ten-lane bowling center that has league bowling on Thursday evenings (6 PM to 10PM). We are looking for a person to help manage leagues, plan activities, and help grow our business. We are mainly open to our members and their guests. We have a bar area, so the supervisor/mechanic is trained in this area also to fill in as needed. Essential Duties:
- Responds to customer complaints of machine malfunction; analyzes the mechanism to find the root of the problem.
- Handles the installation, maintenance, and repairs of both mechanical and circuitry issues in the bowling machines.
- Able to readily identify the most common problem with components like controls and audio system
- Performs maintenance and repair tasks.
- Ability to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays, as well as overtime to support business needs.
- Helps run league bowling on Thursday evenings from 5 PM to 11 PM (lane prep by 6PM
- Plans activities to increase business

- The mechanic/ center supervisor must possess a strong sense of customer service and interpersonal skills to include high integrity and respect for everyone.
- The Technician must demonstrate solid communication skills.
- Two-year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred but not required. Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend, stretch, twist, climb, and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces.
- The employee is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time without breaks during busy times. In addition, the employee will need to be able to use their hands/fingers to handle and feel and reach with hands and arms.
- Lifting and/or moving up to 100lbs with assistance is required.
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
