This position will be on either First Shift; depending upon experience.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Heat Treat Operator to join our team. This role involves operating multiple furnace lines to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and eager to grow within our company.
Duties
- Run heat treat furnaces.
- Ensure products pass quality checks.
- Complete all necessary documents accurately and adhere to 5S standards for cleanliness.
- Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
- Use moderately advanced measuring equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any operational issues.
Experience
- 0 to 2 years of experience, including experience driving powered industrial equipment. Highly experienced operators will be considered for advanced opportunities in this field as well.
- Strong mechanical background.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to handle basic issues and problems, with a beginning to working knowledge of subject matter.
- Knowledge of safety practices in an industrial environment is essential.
Skills
- Ability to interpret work instructions and follow written and verbal directions.
- Basic verbal and written communication skills.
Pay
- Pay range between $17.50 and $20.50 per hour. Off-shifts have a $2.00 additional shift differential.
