Department: Manufacturing / Operations / Quality
Location: US - Oklahoma - Wilburton
Compensation: $22.84 - $34.37 / hour
Responsible for maintaining the internal and external facility physical assets of the property.
Key Responsibilities
- Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Franklin Electric Quality System.
- Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
- Report problems with quality, process, equipment, and materials to Maintenance Supervisor.
- Supports the manufacturing process and the facility by maintaining or repairing equipment.
- Completes planned maintenance projects in a timely and safe manner.
- Maintains working order of necessary repair equipment and tools.
- Tests completed equipment to ensure good working order once repairs are made.
- Uses schematics to rebuild or repair various equipment parts as needed.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
- This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities
- Experience with maintenance equipment to include welding and machine shop equipment.
- Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues.
- Hands-on experience with inspection tools, test equipment, and hand tools.
- Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Utilizes common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
- Provides accurate work on a consistent basis meeting precise tolerances and standards.
- Interpersonal skills sufficient to work closely with others on a team.
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility in work environment performing a variety of frequently changing tasks.
- Ability to work alone effectively under stress and in situations dangerous to self or others.
- Completes some moderately repetitive tasks.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).
- 3-5 years or more of experience working in a maintenance position (required).
- 3-Phase 480 VAC (preferred)
- Motor controls and PLC experience (preferred)
- Strong methodical troubleshooting skills with a focus on root-cause (preferred)
- Completion of a trade school or equivalent completing certificate in maintenance (preferred).
