What are the responsibilities and job description for the FULL TIME SECURITY GUARD position at FRANKENMUTH BAVARIAN INN LODGE?
Hours: Full-time: 37 plus hours per week, 5 Days a week; earliest shift start time 6:00 am, 3:00 pm, latest shift time 11:00 pm, 6:00 am. Some overnight shifts may be required.
Shift Expectations: Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays
The Security Officer plays a key role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all guests, team members, and visitors across the Bavarian Inn Lodge, including the Conference Center, Bavarian Blast, all food and beverage areas, guest rooms, and the Family Fun Center. This position works closely with and supports the Manager on Duty (MOD) department, responding to incidents and assisting during escalated situations.
Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or hospitality preferred.
CPR training and certification are required. (Classes will be provided for those who are not certified before being hired)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Observant and detail-oriented.
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
Dependable and self-motivated.
Physically able to patrol for extended periods.
Basic computer and report-writing skills.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
