Hours: Full-time. 37-40 hours per week. Work Shifts - Earliest shift: 8am. Latest shift: 8pm. Weekends: 8:00am until 4:00pm.
Must be available to work a variety of shift including weekdays, weekends and sometimes evenings. Holidays required.
Job Description: The Employment Specialist will perform personnel and support duties for the Director of Human Resources & Human Resources Operations. This position requires a high level of confidentiality and quality work. Assists in performing interviews and hiring applicants for level 1 – 5 positions. Performs clerical and personnel duties. All HR duties include Bavarian Inn Lodge, River Place, Cass River, and affiliated Gift Shop locations.

Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Pursuit or completion of degree in Human Resources field and/or experience in Human Resources related position preferred.
Six months of hiring experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Neat Appearance and friendly disposition.
Proficient with Windows based office software including the use of Excel.
Continues to further education by seminars, books, and classes.
Must be willing and able to assist with Banquet clearing for Mother's Day, Easter, and Thanksgiving.
Ability to receive all required certifications for position.
Ability to remember and use department verbiage for guest interactions.
