What are the responsibilities and job description for the Handy Man position at Frank Norment Homes, LLC?
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Handyman to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general construction and finishing work, with experience in tile work, cabinet installation, woodworking, and trim work highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs in areas including plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, drywall, and painting.
- Install and repair fixtures, such as light fixtures, faucets, and locks.
- Assemble furniture and equipment as needed.
- Inspect properties to identify issues and provide recommendations for repairs or improvements.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes.
- Maintain an inventory of tools, supplies, and materials for repairs and maintenance.
- Keep accurate records of all completed jobs, including time spent, materials used, and tasks completed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general home maintenance.
- Ability to use a variety of tools and equipment.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
