What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Assistant position at Franchi Law?
We’re looking for a legal assistant who already understands the pace of a law firm and wants to continue growing in a professional, high-standard environment.
This role is ideal for someone with about 1–2 years of experience in a law office who is organized, dependable, and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
You’ll work closely with attorneys handling personal injury and DUI defense cases, helping manage files, communicate with clients, and make sure the details are handled the right way.
This is a team that values professionalism, urgency, and people who genuinely care about doing good work.
Personal Injury Support
- Assisting with active injury case files from intake through settlement
- Requesting and organizing medical records and bills
- Communicating with clients, providers, and insurance companies
- Tracking treatment updates and case deadlines
- Helping prepare demand packages and supporting documentation
DUI / Criminal Defense Support
- Assisting with DUI and criminal defense case management
- Organizing discovery, police reports, videos, and evidence
- Coordinating court dates, deadlines, and client communication
- Drafting basic correspondence and legal documents
Administrative Support
- Maintaining organized digital files and case notes
- Managing calendars, appointments, and follow-ups
- Helping attorneys stay prepared and ahead of schedule
- Supporting daily office operations as needed
- 1–2 years of law firm experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Someone who follows through and handles responsibilities without constant supervision
- Professional communication skills — both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable learning new software and systems
- Positive attitude and team-first mentality
Experience in personal injury or criminal defense is a plus, but we’re also open to someone eager to learn the practice areas.
This position is with Bravo Delta Legal Services and contracted for work with Franchi Law.
