Our Media & Communications client is seeking a Temporary Staff Accountant to join its collaborative and fast-paced finance team. This hybrid opportunity is primarily remote, with occasional onsite meetings in the DC area.

What You'll Do- Support month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
- Partner with accounting operations teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Assist with royalty accounting activities, including contract review and system validation
- Prepare audit support schedules and respond to ad hoc audit requests
- Analyze financial data and help improve reporting accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance and accounting team members on special projects and ongoing initiatives
- 2 years of progressive accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong Excel skills; experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
- Experience working with large data sets and complex financial systems
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines with accuracy and professionalism
Salary : $32 - $36
