FR Conversions is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe and Mill Operator to join our Machining and Fabrication team. In this hands-on role, you will set up, operate, and maintain HAAS CNC lathe and milling machines to produce precision components used in our vehicle upfitting and conversion process. This position plays a critical role in maintaining production flow by delivering high-quality parts on time and to exact specifications in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to machining best practices are essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate HAAS CNC lathes and milling machines to produce precision parts according to blueprints and specifications.
- Load raw materials, select appropriate tooling, and adjust machine settings to ensure optimal operation.
- Perform in-process and final part inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
- Make minor program edits or offset adjustments to maintain part quality.
- Document production results and maintain traceability records.
- Conduct routine machine maintenance and report issues to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Monitor machining performance and contribute suggestions to improve part quality, consistency, and production efficiency within the Machining and Fabrication environment.

Qualifications
Requirements & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2 years of experience operating CNC lathes and/or mills in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with G-code, HAAS controls, or similar CNC systems.
- Strong understanding of precision measurement techniques and tools.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain quality in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to individually lift 50-100 pounds.
- Physical ability to work a full shift involving lifting, bending, twisting, and kneeling in a loud, non-environmentally controlled production area.
- Willingness to operate a forklift; certification preferred or will be provided through on-the-job training.
- Experience with multi-axis CNC machines.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam or Fusion 360.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma practices.
