FR Conversions is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe and Mill Operator to join our Machining and Fabrication team. In this hands-on role, you will set up, operate, and maintain HAAS CNC lathe and milling machines to produce precision components used in our vehicle upfitting and conversion process. This position plays a critical role in maintaining production flow by delivering high-quality parts on time and to exact specifications in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to machining best practices are essential.Key Responsibilities:· Set up and operate HAAS CNC lathes and milling machines to produce precision parts according to blueprints and specifications.· Load raw materials, select appropriate tooling, and adjust machine settings to ensure optimal operation.· Perform in-process and final part inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.· Make minor program edits or offset adjustments to maintain part quality.· Document production results and maintain traceability records.· Conduct routine machine maintenance and report issues to supervisors.· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.· Monitor machining performance and contribute suggestions to improve part quality, consistency, and production efficiency within the Machining and Fabrication environment.Salary & Compensation:This is a full-time, hourly position. Pay is commensurate with experience and qualifications and complies with all applicable laws and company policies.Job Categorization:The CNC Lathe and Mill Operator position is a full-time, hourly, FLSA non-exempt position. (SOC Code - 51-4081).This position is designated as a Safety Sensitive position.A Safety Sensitive position at FR Conversions is subject to post-offer and random drug/alcohol screenings.All positions at FR Conversions are subject to at cause and post-incident drug/alcohol screenings.QualificationsRequirements & Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required.2 years of experience operating CNC lathes and/or mills in a manufacturing setting.Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and engineering drawings.Familiarity with G-code, HAAS controls, or similar CNC systems.Strong understanding of precision measurement techniques and tools.Attention to detail and ability to maintain quality in a fast-paced environment.Ability to individually lift 50-100 pounds.Physical ability to work a full shift involving lifting, bending, twisting, and kneeling in a loud, non-environmentally controlled production area.Willingness to operate a forklift; certification preferred or will be provided through on-the-job training.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with multi-axis CNC machines.Familiarity with CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam or Fusion 360.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma practices.Screenings Required:Pre-employment drug screeningPre-employment physical examinationRespirator fit test and medical evaluation (as applicable)You should be proficient in:CNC ToolingCNC ProgrammingCNC Machine InstallationTape Measure ReadingMachine Setups for Production RunsID:qnkTyx
