Public Relations Intern

The Position: Foxglove Communications is seeking a sharp, hospitality-obsessed Intern to join our growing team. You'll work alongside a tight-knit group of strategists and storytellers on an acclaimed national roster of clients who are setting the standard for hospitality across the country.

This role is for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment and brings both initiative and intention to everything they touch. If you're energized by hospitality culture, care deeply about the craft, and want to do meaningful work at a boutique agency that punches well above its weight, we'd love to meet you.

Candidates must be based in Philadelphia, PA or New York, NY. This is a hybrid role with regular on-site presence at client meetings, media appointments, and events.

Title: Public Relations Intern

Responsibilities:

• Monthly client reporting  
• Closely monitoring the news for client press as well as broader news and trends
• Sharing press clips internally and externally and adding to tracking tools
• One-off press-tracking support needs such as picking up print issues
• Attending select client status meetings (virtual and in-person)
• Attending select media opportunities (i.e. local broadcast segments)
• Assisting with drafting pitches 
• Developing and maintaining media lists
• Research for client initiatives, partners and pitch ideas 
• Supporting with event logistics
• Assisting with general daily office and administrative duties
• Additional client and team support needs as articulated

Requirements:

• Passion for hospitality and travel
• Experience with relevant industry software: Google Suite (Drive, Sheets, Docs, Slides), MuckRack, Asana, CoverageBook, etc.
• General understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn (past social experience is a plus)
• Sense of urgency, ownership, and drive to get things done
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to communicate ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to adapt and work on multiple projects
• Strong time management skills
• Energetic, self-directed, and self-motivated
• Ability to occasionally work night/weekend hours
