The Position: Foxglove Communications is seeking an earnest and hardworking Intern to join our team. In this position, you’ll work closely alongside Account Coordinators, Account Executives, Account Supervisors, Account Directors, and Vice Presidents on a rapidly growing list of acclaimed hospitality clients that span hotels, bars, restaurants, spirits brands, and culinary events across the country. Title: Intern
Responsibilities:
- Monthly client reporting
- Closely monitoring the news for client press as well as broader news and trends
- Sharing press clips internally and externally and adding to tracking tools
- One-off press-tracking support needs such as picking up print issues
- Attending select client status meetings (virtual and in-person)
- Attending select media opportunities (i.e. local broadcast segments)
- Assisting with drafting pitches
- Developing and maintaining media lists
- Research for client initiatives, partners and pitch ideas
- Supporting with event logistics
- Assisting with general daily office and administrative duties
- Additional client and team support needs as articulated
Requirements:
- Passion for hospitality and travel
- Experience with relevant industry software: Google Suite (Drive, Sheets, Docs, Slides), MuckRack, Asana, CoverageBook, etc.
- General understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn (past social experience is a plus)
- Sense of urgency, ownership, and drive to get things done
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to communicate ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to adapt and work on multiple projects
- Strong time management skills
- Energetic, self-directed, and self-motivated
- Ability to occasionally work night/weekend hours
