Bi-County is a regional public education collaborative in the Eastern Massachusetts area serving over 60 public school communities, with 20 member school districts. Bi-County has been in operation for over 40 years and is committed to being an innovative and responsive organization that works to ensure that students are confident and successful as learners and citizens in an ever-changing global society. Bi-County offers a range of services including professional learning opportunities for educators, special education and alternative education programs for students with disabilities, as well as in-district consultation.
The Bi-County Board of Directors is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic educational leader with excellent communication and management skills to lead this long-standing, successful organization.
Purpose: Serve as the chief administrative officer of the Bi-County Area Collaborative and through strong, skillful and dynamic leadership, assumes responsibility for the overall planning, development, operation and performance of the organization.
Qualifications: Education & Experience
1. Five years proven, successful leadership experience in an educational setting
2. Excellent academic credentials; Minimum earned Master’s Degree in Education
Administration or a related field.
3. Massachusetts certification as Superintendent/Assistant Superintendent or
Supervisor/Director
Reports to: Bi-County Board of Directors
Supervises: All administrative, supervisory, instructional and support personnel employed by the Collaborative.
