Job Description:
An established healthcare provider is seeking a Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner to join its Sleep Lab team. In this role, you will deliver specialized respiratory care services to patients with cardiopulmonary conditions, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary care team. This position requires strong clinical expertise, independent judgment, and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced respiratory therapy services in a sleep lab setting
- Assess, treat, and monitor patients with cardiopulmonary and sleep-related conditions
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to develop care plans
- Operate and maintain respiratory and sleep diagnostic equipment
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and therapy techniques
- Ensure compliance with clinical standards, safety protocols, and documentation requirements
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy or related field
- Active Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in sleep lab or polysomnography settings
- Strong background in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation
- Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment
