Roofing Foreman

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Roofing Foreman to lead our Double Lock roofing projects with energy and precision. As a key leader on the construction site, you will oversee daily operations, coordinate teams, and ensure that roofing installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Your expertise in roofing systems, construction techniques, and site management will drive project success while fostering a motivated and disciplined work environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your leadership skills and technical knowledge in a fast-paced construction setting. Double Lock standing seam knowledge is a must.

Duties

• Supervise roofing crews and coordinate daily work activities to meet project timelines and quality expectations
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to roofing systems and construction details
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed rigorously on-site, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and other equipment efficiently to complete roofing tasks
• Oversee material delivery, storage, and usage to minimize waste and ensure smooth workflow
• Conduct quality inspections of completed work such as flashing, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco, masonry, tile laying, and restoration efforts
• Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and clients to communicate progress and address any issues promptly

Skills

• Extensive experience with construction estimating and blueprint reading for roofing projects
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques
• Strong background in various construction disciplines including carpentry (frame carpentry, trim carpentry), masonry (masonry work), plumbing (basic), metal stud framing, drywall finishing (restoration), and remodeling
• Knowledge of roofing systems such as shingle, metal roof panels, flat roof membranes, or tile roofing
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on construction sites
• Familiarity with schematics for electrical or plumbing integration within roofing structures
• Experience in caulking applications for waterproofing; tile laying; stucco application; concrete forming; masonry; welding; framing; handyman tasks; restoration projects; metal stud framing; plumbing; masonry work; remodeling processes; welding techniques; tile installation
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams while maintaining high safety standards
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and stakeholders

Pay: $30.52 - $40.00 per hour
