Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the team and coordinate the proper installation and repair of commercial roofing systems.
- Collaborate in the development of project plans with the Project Manager and Field Superintendent.
- Supervise, motivate, and train team members, ensuring adherence to safety standards and company procedures.
- Plan, monitor, and evaluate team performance, providing guidance on application techniques, productivity, and proper use of tools and equipment.
- Maintain communication with the client’s representatives, addressing concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Manage and coordinate with subcontractors and other trades as required.
- Stay up-to-date on manufacturer specifications and implement them across all relevant projects.
Position Requirements:
- Construction Supervision Experience: Proven experience as a roofing foreman or in a similar supervisory role..
- Specialized Skills: In-depth knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and techniques.
- Technical Drawing (Blueprint) Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (blueprints), as it facilitates precise execution of each project.
- Tools of the trade: Candidates are expected to provide their own hand tools necessary for completing tasks efficiently.
- Willingness to travel: Candidates must be open to traveling to job sites.
- Reliable transportation: Personal transportation is required to commute to and from various job sites.
