Our client, an elevated women's resort wear brand, is looking for a Sales Associate to join their team in Miami, FL (Coral Gables)!

POSITION SUMMARY

The Retail Sales Associate brings collections to life for every customer who walks through our doors. This role blends warm, knowledgeable service with genuine clienteling, helping customers find pieces that fit their lives and building relationships that keep them coming back. Beyond the sales floor, the Retail Sales Associate helps keep the store looking its best and running smoothly, from merchandising to inventory to the small details that make a shopping experience feel elevated. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Engagement, Sales, and Clienteling (60%)

• Welcome every customer warmly and guide them through their visit with attentive, personalized service.
• Share genuine, in-depth knowledge of collections to help customers find pieces that truly suit them.
• Ask thoughtful questions to understand each customer's style, needs, and occasion, then recommend accordingly.
• Practice strong clienteling by following up after visits, remembering preferences, and treating top clients to the VIP experience they deserve.
• Build and nurture a personal client portfolio through proactive, approved outreach by phone, text, email, and clienteling platforms.
• Share promotions, loyalty benefits, and new arrivals in ways that feel personal rather than transactional.
• Take ownership of individual and store sales goals, using upselling and cross-selling naturally, never pushily.

Store Presentation and Inventory Management (30%)

• Keep the store clean, organized, and visually inviting by following ViX's merchandising standards.
• Help receive, unpack, and restock new inventory so the sales floor is always ready for customers.
• Ensure merchandise is displayed and tagged correctly, and help bring seasonal and promotional displays to life.
• Support stock counts, replenishment, and stockroom organization.
• Process POS transactions accurately, including purchases, returns, and exchanges, in line with company policy on cash handling and loss prevention.

Team Collaboration and Support (10%)

• Contribute to a positive, supportive team culture that helps the whole store succeed.
• Share product knowledge and support new team members as they learn the ropes.
• Bring ideas and insights to team meetings around store goals, promotions, and performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Coursework in business, retail, or a related field is a plus.

Work Experience:

• At least 3 years of retail sales experience, ideally with a luxury or premium brand, and a genuine focus on customer engagement and sales.
• Real, hands on clienteling experience, from building a client portfolio to proactive outreach to turning first time buyers into repeat customers.
• Comfort in a fast paced retail environment, with familiarity in point of sale systems; Shopify experience is a plus.
• Existing ties to the local community, or a following of loyal customers, is a plus.
