Our client, an apparel and accessories wholesale company, is seeking a Production Manager for their hard home goods division, specifically working on candles. The ideal candidate will oversee all production processes as well as support sourcing.
This role requires 4 days onsite in NYC.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end production process
- Coordinate production schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Work with overseas partners to achieve efficient production processes
- Monitor factory performance
- Review product specifications to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Manage negotiations and handle costing initiatives
- Create and maintain reporting for production
- Ensure all products meet safety and regulatory requirements
- Oversee production tracking
- Ensure prompt resolution of all production related issues
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in production, preferably in candles or hard home goods
- Experience working in BlueCherry
- Experience managing overseas production timelines
- Strong organizational, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read product specifications, BOM's, and technical documents
- Knowledge of import/export logistics, freight coordination, and compliance standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite
