Creative Home Ideas is seeking a hands-on Production Manager to lead execution across a high volume, SKU-intensive home textiles business supporting major e-commerce and retail programs.
This role manages a global team of production coordinators across New York, India, and China, and is responsible for driving orders from development through bulk production with a focus on speed, quality, and accountability.
This is an on-site role based in New York City. Candidates must be located in or able to commute to NYC.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of production coordinators across multiple time zones, ensuring clear ownership and execution across all active purchase orders
Own the end-to-end production process, including strike offs, pre-production samples (PPS), top of production (TOP) samples, and packaging approvals
Coordinate daily with sourcing offices, product development, and packaging teams to move orders efficiently through the production lifecycle
Partner with both e-commerce and non e-commerce teams on shared orders, ensuring alignment and eliminating delays across workflows
Manage complex production calendars across multiple vendors, factories, and product categories
Identify and resolve production risks early, maintaining on-time delivery in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Ensure all products meet company quality standards prior to bulk production
Drive process improvements across sampling, approvals, and production tracking
Requirements
5 to 8 years of production experience in home textiles, soft goods, or related consumer products
Experience working with overseas vendors and factories, including India and China
Strong understanding of the sampling process, including strike offs, PPS, TOP samples, and packaging development
Prior experience managing or mentoring production coordinators or similar roles
Highly organized with the ability to manage a high volume of SKUs and purchase orders simultaneously
Comfortable working in Excel-driven environments with experience using PLM and ERP systems (Exenta preferred)
Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across global teams and time zones
