Product Development and Design Manager, Tabletop

Our rapidly growing wholesale houseware client, is seeking a dynamic product development and design manager to join the team for their tabletops division.

Responsibilities:

• Research and identify market rends for newness of tabletop categories
• Communicate and closely collaborate with product development team to identify customer needs
• Collaborate with leadership to define product vision, roadmap, and strategic priorities
• Develop concept, prototyping, user experience workflows, and visual design standards
• Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines, user needs, and technical constraints
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure product requirements are met, including design specifications, material reviews, packaging, and costing
• Serve as a liaison between sales and product development team to ensure clear and timely communication
• Negotiate with factories with margin expectations in mind
• Understands the technical details of the category including the packaging

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in a product development and design
• Must have tabletop experience (glass, dinner, barware, outdoor, wood/serve entertain, housewares)
• Knowledge of the 360 product development lifecycle
• Must have basic MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Must be a team player with a positive outlook
• Must be organized
• Must be a self starter
• Must be detailed oriented & creative
