Assistant Print/Graphic Designer - Apparel

Our client, a growing kids apparel company, is seeking a Print/Graphic Designer - Apparel to join their team in New York.

Responsibilities

• Create unique prints and graphics in a dynamic work environment
• Take artwork from the initial concept stage through to pre-production
• Work closely with the Design team to manage deadlines and deliver artwork on time
• Effectively communicate with other teams to ensure successful execution of designs
• Stay informed about current trends in print and graphic design for inspiration
• Ensure artwork is factory-ready and properly set up for production
• Promote teamwork and growth by conducting research and suggesting best practices for the team

Qualifications

• at least 1 year of experience in Print and Graphic Design or a similar area
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, such as Art or Graphic Design
• Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
• Advanced skills in Illustrator and Photoshop, particularly for textile design
• Strong talent in illustration and painting
• High attention to detail and excellent time management capabilities
• Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Flexible and able to maintain a positive attitude under pressure
