Our client, an apparel company, is looking for an Assistant Designer for Girls apparel to join their team in NYC!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the full design lifecycle from concept through production.
- Build and update tech packs and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Create precise flat sketches and provide support on graphics/print development when necessary.
- Maintain accurate data entry and track all product revisions.
- Partner with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve development challenges.
- Manage timelines effectively while responding to feedback with a solutions-focused approach.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion or Apparel Design (or equivalent experience).
- 1–2 years of experience in design and/or product development; internships welcomed.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator; working knowledge of Photoshop preferred.
- Highly organized with sharp attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, can-do attitude.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
