Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems including HVAC units, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and facilities infrastructure.
• Perform repairs and troubleshooting on electrical equipment using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to ensure optimal performance.
• Carry out plumbing maintenance and repairs such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and maintaining plumbing systems.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete carpentry tasks like repairs to interior walls, doors, windows, or painting projects to maintain building aesthetics.
• Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automated system troubleshooting when applicable.
• Maintain HVAC systems through repair, filter replacement, and system calibration to ensure climate control efficiency.
• Follow safety protocols during welding activities or when working with electrical equipment to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Read schematics and technical manuals for complex facilities equipment maintenance or electrical work.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant or resident concerns promptly and professionally.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, parts used, and repairs performed to support ongoing facility management efforts.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in maintenance repair operations (MRO).
• Proficiency with electrical work including troubleshooting electrical equipment and repair using schematics and ohmmeters.
• Experience with plumbing system maintenance and repair techniques.
• Skilled in HVAC system repair and troubleshooting for residential or commercial settings.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance machinery safely and effectively.
• Knowledge of building interior maintenance including carpentry tasks such as painting or drywall repairs.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automated system diagnostics.
• Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and customer interactions.
• Leadership qualities to assist in supervising junior team members or leading small maintenance projects when needed.
• Ability to interpret technical schematics and manuals accurately for complex repairs or installations.
