Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of all rooms and common areas.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health and safety standards are met consistently.
• Manage laundry tasks such as washing, folding, ironing, and organizing linens and clothing items.
• Operate cleaning equipment and use appropriate cleaning detergents safely and effectively.
• Handle manual lifting of furniture, supplies, or heavy items with proper technique to prevent injury.
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor spaces when required, including patios or entryways.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide updates on cleaning progress, and address any special requests or concerns promptly.

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles; janitorial or custodial experience is highly valued.
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and complete assignments within designated timeframes.
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and outdoor work when necessary.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper handling procedures.
• Experience in residential housekeeping management or similar roles is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
