Accounts Receivable Clerk / Specialist
A growing manufacturing company in the southern Columbus, OH suburbs is looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk / Specialist to join its accounting team.

What You’ll Do
In this role, you will support the AR function and help ensure customer accounts are accurate, timely, and well-maintained. Responsibilities may include:
- Prepare and process customer invoices
- Apply cash receipts and post payments
- Monitor customer accounts and follow up on past-due balances
- Research and resolve billing or payment discrepancies
- Assist with credit memos, account reconciliations, and AR aging reports
- Partner with internal teams and customers to answer questions and resolve issues
- Support month-end close and other accounting projects as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Prior accounts receivable, accounting, billing, or cash application experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and follow-up skills
- Comfortable working in Excel and accounting/ERP systems
- Manufacturing experience is helpful, but not required
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Compensation & Schedule
- Base salary up to $60,000, depending on experience
- Initially onsite while getting trained and up to speed
- After training, schedule transitions to 4 days in office and 1 day from home
