Senior Manager / Manager - Fixed Asset Accounting / Lease Accounting
Cincinnati, OH | Hybrid / Onsite Preferred
Base Salary: $105,000 to $140,000 10-25% Target Bonus
I’m partnering with a larger organization in Cincinnati on a search for a Senior Manager / Manager of Fixed Asset Accounting / Lease Accounting.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys leading a team, owning an important area of corporate accounting, improving processes, and partnering across the business. This role will have high visibility within the accounting and finance organization and offers strong long-term growth potential.

This role will oversee fixed asset accounting and related general accounting activities, including month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, amortization, reporting, variance analysis, process improvement, and team leadership.
What You’ll Do
- Leading, developing, and coaching a team of accounting professionals
- Overseeing fixed asset accounting, lease accounting, related general ledger activity, and monthly close responsibilities
- Reviewing and approving journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, amortization, and supporting schedules
- Ensuring accounting records are accurate, complete, and maintained in accordance with GAAP and internal policies
- Managing month-end responsibilities, including variance analysis, account reconciliations, and reporting
- Partnering with internal finance, accounting, operations, and business leaders
- Supporting reporting enhancements and improved management analysis
- Identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities
- Helping improve documentation, controls, procedures, and overall accounting efficiency
- Allocating work, reviewing staff output, providing training, and supporting team development
- Assisting with special projects and broader accounting initiatives as needed
Ideal Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
- CPA, CMA, MBA, MAcc / MSA, or other advanced certification strongly preferred
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Fixed asset accounting, lease accounting experience preferred
- Prior supervisory, team lead, or people management experience preferred
- Public accounting and/or large corporate accounting experience preferred
- Strong GAAP knowledge
- Month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, variance analysis, and reporting experience
- Strong Excel and systems aptitude
- Ability to communicate clearly with managers, department leaders, and senior leadership
- Strong analytical, organizational, and follow-up skills
- A continuous improvement mindset
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $105,000 to $140,000
- Target bonus: 10-25%
- PTO: 22 to 25 days
- Paid holidays: 12

Work Arrangement
Preference is for someone who is comfortable being onsite in Cincinnati. The company is also open to a hybrid schedule of approximately 4 days in office and 1 day remote.
