Commercial Construction Superintendent
Homestead, FL | Up to $120K Base Benefits
We are hiring on behalf of an established commercial General Contractor looking to add an experienced Superintendent to their team for an immediate project in Homestead, FL.
The company specializes in automotive dealership construction, delivering ground-up builds and major renovation projects throughout Florida.
The initial project is the renovation of an existing dealership showroom, with a further two phases of construction planned.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage day-to-day field operations
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades and vendors
- Drive the construction schedule and project milestones
- Oversee site safety and quality
- Manage work within an existing/operational commercial environment
- Coordinate closely with Project Management and ownership
- Identify and resolve field issues
- Manage the project through punch, closeout and turnover
What We're Looking For
- Commercial construction Superintendent experience
- Strong ground-up and/or commercial renovation background
- Experience independently managing projects in the field
- Strong subcontractor coordination and scheduling skills
- Automotive dealership experience is a plus, but not required
- Experience with retail, hospitality, commercial interiors, restaurants or other renovation-heavy commercial projects will also be considered
