Esthetician | Part-Time
BASIC FUNCTION: Provide facials, waxing services and body therapies with professionalism and personalized service for all spa guests.
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Current Esthetician License.
- Current Waxing License.
- One to two years experience as an esthetician.
- Previous spa experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide facials, waxing, and body therapies with professionalism and personalized service for all spa guests.
- Ensure outstanding service through upholding spa flow of greeting the guest, consultation, treatment and closing.
- Recommends products for home use and suggests other beneficial treatments offered in the spa.
- Begins and ends all treatments on time.
- Ensures work areas are clean and equipment is disinfected according to procedures.
- Assesses contraindications of guest that may prevent service from taking place.
- Report all guest complaints to team leader.
- Ensure company policies and procedures outlined in employee manual are followed.
- Keep current on all licensure and insurance.
- Create and maintains guest files according to procedures.
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
- Respond to any reasonable task assigned by Manager.
- Attend necessary meetings.
ENVIRONMENT:
Working indoors in a spa environment.
