What You’ll Do The Foundation for California Community Colleges is seeking an individual to join our Career Catalyst program. As an employer of record service, Career Catalyst provides human resources and payroll services for work-based learning while partnering with a diverse network of clients. Work experience learning creates opportunities for students to develop, practice an,d demonstrate employability skills. In this role, the Workforce Development Administrative Assistant will facilitate hiring, time tracking, terminations, and payroll processes that enable employees to learn outside the classroom while earning a wage. Under the direction of the Senior Manager, this Administrative Assistant position represents an exciting opportunity for an individual with robust attention to detail and problem solving skills to provide administrative support to resource development activities and special projects. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, strong performer, and collaborative team player who is passionate about their own work and the team's success, and takes pride in successful outcomes. Administrative support for Career Catalyst Service, including monitoring the Salesforce ticketing system, performing password resets, tracking and auditing employment and worksite documentation , and assisting with client and employee training. Accurately and effectively enter data and audits the integrity of that data in Salesforce and Workday platforms. Generates reports as necessary. Administrative support for internal and external meetings, including complex scheduling, regular monitoring for schedule conflicts, meeting preparation (including preparing agendas and coordinating agenda contributions from staff members), detailed note taking, and meeting follow up (includingtracking action items, sending reminders, and scheduling follow up meetings). Attributes for Success Relevant AA/AS, certifications, or equivalent work experience Minimum of 12 months work experience in an administrative capacity in an office environment. Excellent record in customer service required. Familiarity with human resources hiring, payroll, and termination processes preferred.
