Position Summary:
The Reentry Coordinator supports the Reentry & Prevention Director by managing the day-to-day operations of the Reentry Program and assisting the case management team in delivering high-quality services. This role focuses on reviewing records for accurate and timely documentation, while also providing hands-on support with case management, class facilitation, and site activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in data management, operational support, and direct service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Coordination & Daily Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day reentry operations to ensure program goals and deliverables are met.
- Provide daily oversight and support to case managers under the direction of the Reentry & Prevention Director.
- Support, coach, and hold case managers accountable for accurate and timely documentation in Salesforce and other systems.
- Facilitate daily team check-ins or huddles to review priorities, address immediate challenges, and distribute tasks.
- Review case notes, data entries, and reports for completeness and quality.
- Serve as the first point of contact for staff regarding procedural questions and daily operational issues.
- Provide consultation and assist staff with complex or escalated client cases and provide case management support when needed.
- Ensure staff timesheets, reports, and required documentation are submitted on time.
- Support onboarding and training of new reentry staff and interns. Informally mentoring newer case managers and fostering a positive team culture.
- Overseeing inventory of program supplies, donations, bus passes, and/or other client resources.
- Assist in monitoring team performance and holding staff accountable for deadlines and quality standards.
- Maintain, manage, and distribute program calendars including but not limited to coordinated classes, workshops, and events.
- Code and upload program credit card receipts using Microsoft Suites.
- Collaborate with the Reentry & Prevention Director to implement policies, procedures, and workflows.
- Assist in training new staff on program policies and procedures, data entry, case documentation standards, and the use of Salesforce.
Data Management, Reporting & Compliance:
- Audit case files and documentation in Salesforce to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Track and ensure timely submission of all program documentation and timesheet submissions.
Direct Service & Program Delivery:
- Maintain an active caseload
- Facilitate reentry classes and groups.
- Travel to various program sites to provide support, oversee service delivery, and meet with participants.
- Represent the Foundation of HOPE at community events, correctional facilities, and partner meetings when assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in social work, Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a reentry, social service, or non-profit setting, with at least 1 year involving case management.
- Experience with supervisory tasks and team support coordination (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Office Suite is required.
- Ability to work with diverse populations, including individuals impacted by the justice system.
- Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM database for reporting and data extraction.
- Ability to travel locally to different sites and work a flexible schedule as needed.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Direct experience facilitating groups or classes (preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $39,500.00 - $41,000.00 per year
