Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Wet Utilities Project Manager to oversee the planning, design, coordination, and construction of wet utility systems, including water, sewer, storm drain, and recycled water infrastructure projects across Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and experience navigating local agency requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of wet utilities projects from pre-construction through closeout
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, contractors, and public agencies
- Oversee design review and ensure compliance with local standards and regulations
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources
- Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve technical issues
- Review plans, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and completeness
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders
- Support permitting processes with agencies such as LADWP, LA Sanitation, and Public Works
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 5–10 years of experience in wet utilities or civil infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of water, sewer, and storm drain systems
- Experience working with local Los Angeles agencies and permitting processes
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in California
- Experience with large-scale municipal or infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with BIM and GIS tools

Salary : $120,000 - $190,000
