What are the responsibilities and job description for the Slitter Helper position at FORZA STEEL USA LLC?
The Slitter Helper will assist the Slitter Operator with moving materials, operating equipment and quality checks at our Brownsville, Texas facility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Moving raw materials, finished products and equipment using forklifts, cranes and hoists
- Assist with operating slitting equipment and related machinery
- Assist with packaging and labeling finished products
- Housekeeping
- Other duties as assigned by Manager
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Basic math skills
- Measurements and calculations
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to push, pull, bend, kneel, squat and twist
- Must be able to stand for more than 10 hours
