We are looking for a detail-oriented Commercial and Agricultural Loan Documentation Specialist to support our lending team and help ensure loans are processed accurately and efficiently. This role plays an important part in helping local businesses and farmers secure financing while maintaining strong documentation, compliance, and customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and set up new commercial and ag loans in the system
- Prepare loan documentation for new, renewed, and refinanced loans
- Review loan files for completeness and resolve missing documentation
- Verify borrower information and assist with closing conditions
- Track lien perfection and file UCCs or lien recordings as needed
- Obtain and monitor insurance coverage for commercial and ag loans
- Post loan payments and assist with loan servicing tasks
- Support our audit team with regular audits and regulatory examinations
- Communicate with lenders, title agencies, customers, attorneys, and insurance agents
- Maintain accurate records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 to 3 years of banking loan processing experience is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a face-paced, deadline driver environment with high loan volume
- Basic understanding of loan documentation or willingness to learn
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Familiarity with commercial or agricultural lending concepts is a plus
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
