Our search team has been retained to identify a strong Accounting Director for our client, Central Peninsula Hospital (CPH) in Soldotna, AK.
Critical Position Bonus: $10,000 or $25,000
Onsite (Relocation Provided), Full Time, Day, Monday -Friday
This position is eligible for up to $25,000 relocation assistance, a Critical Position Bonus equal to $10,000 (1 year commitment) or $25,000 (2 years), and participation in the Director-level Incentive Compensation Plan, which currently provides a maximum annual incentive opportunity of up to 10% of annual earnings.

Central Peninsula Hospital (CPH) is an independent 63-bed, full-service hospital located in Soldotna, Alaska which serves the Central Kenai Peninsula. CPH approaches wellness by including all aspects of healing – mental, emotional, spiritual, social and physical. Hospital facilities and services include all private patient rooms, four surgical suites, dedicated C-section suite, family birth center, 24-hour emergency department, imaging, laboratory, oncology/infusion center, outpatient services and physical therapy.

Responsibilities
- The Accounting Director provides strategic leadership and oversight of the organization's accounting and financial operations.
- This position is responsible for directing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, debt financing, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- As a key member of the leadership team, this role supports executive decision-making through accurate financial analysis and reporting while promoting the organization's long-term financial stability.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, Master’s preferred
- 5 years of finance or accounting — senior level experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA), preferred
- Knowledge of automated financial and accounting systems, federal and state financial regulations, budgeting and forecasting methodologies, and profitability analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, forecasts, and projections.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to facilitate meetings, collaborate with stakeholders, and build effective working relationships across the organization.
