Marketing & Communications Manager - Asheville NC (fully in office)
We are seeking a proven Marketing & Communications Manager to provide strategic leadership for this specialty contractor’s overall marketing, communications and brand initiatives. The Marketing & Communications Manager will develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to support ongoing expansion, strengthen brand recognition, reinforce company culture and enhance relationships with customers, prospective employees, and the communities we serve.
The Manager will lead the Marketing & Communications function and partner closely with the executive leadership team, business development professionals and departmental leaders across the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Direct marketing and communications strategy, planning, and execution, setting departmental priorities, goals and performance metrics
- Drive innovation through the adoption of emerging technologies and AI solutions
- Champion and protect the organization’s brand across all marketing and communication channels
- Develop creative strategy for marketing campaigns, digital communications, presentations and collateral, balancing and prioritizing marketing initiatives across the organization
- Collaborate with business development leadership on pursuit strategies client presentations and customer-facing materials
- Support organizational initiatives and executive communications, representing the company in community and industry organizations and supporting sponsorships, public relations and community engagement initiatives
- Lead, mentor and develop Marketing Specialist, fostering collaboration, innovation and accountability
- Manage departmental budget, vendor relationships and marketing resources
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communications Public Relations, or related field
- 7 years of marketing, communications and business development experience
- Strengths in graphic design and brand management is highly preferred
- Prior marketing department leadership experience with strong strategic planning, communication and relationship-building skills
