Accounting Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Accounting professional for our publicly traded technology client on a project basis. This contract role is on-site in Jacksonville, Florida.

• Maintain and review general ledger account activity, including journal entry preparation and posting.
• Create account reconciliation templates to be used on large volume of general ledger accounts
• Perform account reconciliations for asset and liability accounts timely
• Obtain supporting documentation and document processes
• Work with Accounting Manager and Finance team to analyze reconciling items

• Associates degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields
• 3 years of relevant account reconciliation experience
• Strong Microsoft Excel experience required
• Prior experience with Great Plains or Business Central software preferred
• Ability to work on-site in Jacksonville, FL required
• Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S.
