Our client is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee and lead the accounting team for their Desert Division. The Division Controller will support the growth of the company and will play a key role in supporting internal and external clients.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage all general ledger, accounts payable and fixed asset activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions and compliance with internal policies
- Ensure compliance with federal, state jurisdictions, and related regulations
- Collaborate with Finance, IT and external consultants to identify, coordinate and implement systems and process improvements with
- Maintain strong focus on efficiency, accuracy and customer service
- Act as the liaison between Finance, IT, and external consultants to assist with any system upgrade or implementation and ensure data integrity
- Support the CFO, VP Finance, and Finance Department with analysis
- Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
- Ensure all facets of Accounting are efficient and timely, including accounts payable, accounts receivables, general accounting, cash, fixed assets, reporting, and control compliance.
- Ensure the completion of periodic bank reconciliations
- Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions
- Prepare the quarterly field incentive bonus calculations and presenting them to management. Supporting the calculation of the annual Corporate Incentive Program and ensuring all quarterly and annual bonus payments are processed timely and accurately.
- Manage all aspects of the annual financial audit and quarterly reviews, including serving as the primary contact for the external auditors, the preparation of all requested information and the overall timeline of the audit activities.
- Issue financial statements
- Measure the performance of company operations and recommend improvements
- Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics
- Produce the annual budget and forecasts
- Calculate variances from the budget
- Provide cost reports and financial analyses as needed
- Provide information to external auditors for the annual audit
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required
- Over ten years of management experience in Accounting required
- Strong accounting knowledge required
- Multi-branch experience is preferred
- Skilled in relationship building and problem solving
- Open to 20% travel in the local market

Salary : $130,000 - $140,000
