In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of plant equipment, machinery, and systems. Your expertise will help minimize downtime, improve efficiency, and uphold safety standards across our manufacturing facility. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical knowledge in a fast-paced environment dedicated to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
1st Shift: 5:00am-3:30pm
2nd Shift: 3:30pm-2:00am
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including HVAC systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
- Troubleshoot complex machinery issues using schematics, electrical blueprints, and diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and manage inventory of spare parts.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics and repairs on low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Operate field service equipment including scissor lifts and other aerial work platforms safely to access elevated machinery or components.
- Read electrical schematics and blueprints to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions.
- Perform welding tasks such as stick welding to repair or fabricate metal components as needed for equipment maintenance or upgrades.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) issues and optimize automation processes.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols related to electrical maintenance, high voltage systems, and industrial mechanics.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with team members and supporting production needs through timely repairs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility or industrial environment with a strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices.
- Knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems and their maintenance a plus.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, electrical blueprints, and troubleshooting electrical systems including low voltage and high voltage circuits a plus.
- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters for diagnostics.
- Experience with welding techniques including stick welding for metal repairs or fabrication projects.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to industrial equipment repair and troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting.
- Excellent analysis skills combined with a detail-oriented approach to equipment diagnostics.
- Ability to perform electrical maintenance tasks safely while adhering to all safety standards related to electrical systems and high voltage environments.
- Effective communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork collaboration.

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
