Essential Job Functions
School Support and Operational Coordination
- Oversees central office functions that directly support schools and ensures departments work cohesively and responsively.
- Establishes clear operational expectations with support departments to improve service, timelines, and follow-through.
- Works cross-functionally with central office teams throughout the year to address school needs and operational issues.
- Serves as a thought partner and advocate for principals on non-instructional matters, including HR, facilities, maintenance and operations, and related support functions.
- Identifies and removes non-instructional burdens that limit principals' ability to focus on teaching and learning.
- Develops and improves processes that streamline service delivery to schools.
- Ensures operational functions comply with federal, state, and local requirements, as well as district policies, with particular attention to special education and human resources.
- Monitors implementation of policies and procedures across operational departments and addresses compliance issues proactively.
- Collaborates with central office teams to allocate resources effectively and supports operational readiness across schools.
- Monitors campus budgets and resource use in support of instructional priorities and principal decision-making.
- Oversees technology systems and services that support school operations and instructional continuity while minimizing disruption.
- Partners with Talent Management and other support teams to help resolve staffing, grievance, and employment-related issues that affect school operations.
- Ensures operational systems are reliable, user-friendly, and aligned to district needs.
- Evaluates service delivery, identifies improvement opportunities, and implements changes that increase efficiency and responsiveness.
- Builds strong relationships with school leaders, staff, and community stakeholders to align operational support with educational goals.
- Communicates regularly with stakeholders about available support and uses feedback to improve service quality.
- Selects, trains, supervises, and evaluates staff, and makes recommendations relative to assignment, retention, discipline, and dismissal.

- Knowledge of current teaching methods and educational pedagogy, as well as differentiated instruction based upon student learning styles.
- Knowledge of best practices in administration, program evaluation, and staff supervision.
- Knowledge of current research and literature related to effective leadership.

- Education:
- Master's degree from an accredited university or college required;
- Doctorate degree preferred.
- Certification/License:
- Eligible for a Valid Texas Mid-Management and/or Principal Certification preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of three years of exemplary teaching experience.
- Minimum of three years of successful experience as a principal, director, or other similar district supervisory role.
Salary : $160,000 - $190,000
