Part time
64 hours bi weekly

The Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care and collaborates with other members of the care team.
Responsibilities of this position include:
- Determines patient level of severity and priority.
- Responds to Medical Emergency/Rapid Response Alerts
- Adheres to MSE/EMTALA requirements.
- Assists provider with rapid sequence intubation (RSI) and moderate sedation.
- Assists Law Enforcement with acquiring legal blood samples.
- Meets mandatory reporting requirements for neglect, abuse, and domestic violence.
- Completes age-appropriate assessments for neonatal through geriatric patients.
- Develops and implements a plan of care for each patient, including appropriate utilization of resources.
- Visually observes and interprets alterations in physiological and psychological status of all patients.
- Provides holistic nursing care that incorporates family involvement.
- Promptly updates physicians and family of relevant patient status changes.
- Accurately documents patient data and care provided in the patient’s medical record.
- Collaborates with members of the medical staff to provide quality patient care.
Requirements of this position include:
- Associates degree required
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Current RN license to practice in the State of Wisconsin upon hire; BLS (required); ACLS, PALS, NRP certification (if applicable to specialty area).
