About the Role:

The Gaming Machine Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional gaming experience for patrons by maintaining and servicing gaming machines within a casino or gaming establishment. This position involves promptly addressing machine malfunctions, assisting customers with machine operations, and ensuring compliance with gaming regulations and safety standards. The attendant acts as a frontline representative, providing courteous and efficient service to enhance customer satisfaction and support the overall gaming environment. Additionally, the role requires vigilant monitoring of gaming equipment to prevent and report any irregularities or technical issues. Ultimately, the Gaming Machine Attendant contributes to the smooth operation of the gaming floor, fostering a safe, enjoyable, and fair gaming atmosphere for all guests.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor repairs on electronic gaming machines.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required in a gaming environment.
• Familiarity with gaming regulations and compliance standards applicable in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a casino or gaming environment.
• Technical training or certification related to electronics or gaming machine maintenance.
• Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or similar software.
• Bilingual abilities to assist a diverse customer base.
• Knowledge of responsible gaming practices and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and maintain gaming machines to ensure they are fully operational and meet regulatory standards.
• Respond promptly to customer requests and troubleshoot machine issues to minimize downtime.
• Assist patrons with understanding machine functions, payouts, and game rules in a clear and friendly manner.
• Report any suspicious activity or machine malfunctions to management and security teams in accordance with company policies.
• Perform routine cleaning and upkeep of gaming machines and surrounding areas to maintain a professional and inviting environment.
• Document maintenance activities, incidents, and customer interactions accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with technical support and other departments to resolve complex machine issues efficiently.
• Adhere strictly to all gaming laws, regulations, and internal policies to ensure compliance and integrity.
