About the Role

I’m hiring a GCP Platform Lead to drive the design, delivery, and evolution of scalable, AI-enabled platforms on Google Cloud. This is a senior leadership role for someone who combines strong platform engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience integrating Agentic AI into cloud-native systems. You’ll own end-to-end platform architecture, lead delivery processes, and act as the bridge between engineering teams and business stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the architecture and delivery of secure, scalable GCP platforms for AI-driven applications
• Integrate Agentic AI capabilities into platform and foundation layers
• Partner with data and platform teams to define integration patterns and architecture standards
• Own platform roadmaps aligned to business goals and emerging technologies
• Oversee requirements engineering, iterative testing, and delivery processes
• Act as the primary technical and delivery lead for stakeholders
• Track progress, manage risks, and ensure high-quality outcomes
• Mentor teams and promote best practices in cloud, DevOps, and software engineering

What I’m Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Compute, BigQuery, GKE, Cloud Functions, IAM, security & compliance)
• Deep understanding of Agentic AI systems and how they operate in production environments
• Solid software engineering background (Python, Java, Go)
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code (Terraform or similar)
• Familiarity with data engineering and real-time data pipelines on GCP
• Proven experience leading platform design and delivery at scale
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Comfortable operating in Agile, iterative delivery environments
