Position Summary
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for recording, reconciling and analyzing financial transactions and bank statements.
Expectations
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and bank reconciliations, timely and accurately.
- Clear suspense account items on the general ledger system.
- Prepare journal entries as required.
- Research, communicate and resolve discrepancies with multiple departments.
- Provide financial information to internal and external auditors as needed.
- Develop working relationships with internal business partners to support organizational goals.
- Assist in developing and implementing general accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

- Ability to research complex reconciliation issues and discrepancies.
- Ability to manage, analyze, and interpret large amounts of financial data.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft office applications.

Requisites
- A bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
- 1-3 years accounting experience.
- Experience in Excel functions.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Strong multi-tasking skills – organized and attentive to details.
