Associate, Warehouse

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, inputting, sorting, loading, and unloading products. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate inventory, ensuring efficient order processing, and meeting shipping schedules. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and adherence to safety and quality standards are essential. The Warehouse Associate will work collaboratively with team members to fulfill customer orders promptly and minimize product loss or damage.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & DUTIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

·       Material Handling: Responsible for operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise.

·       Order Fulfillment: Process, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.

·       Order Preparation: Prepares orders by processing supply requests, pulling stock, packing boxes, and placing them in the designated delivery area.

·       Inventory Control: Perform regular inventory cycle counting to ensure accuracy and assist in maintaining stock levels.

·       Equipment Operation: Operate merchandise management tools and equipment, including manual and electric pallet jacks and forklifts.

·       Data Entry: Enter product and inventory data into inventory and logistics software programs.

·       Regulatory Compliance: Ensure warehouse operations meet regulatory compliance and safety standards.

·       Quality Assurance: Perform merchandise scan-ins and required quality checks to verify order contents and maintain accurate records.

·       Other Duties: Perform additional related duties as assigned to support warehouse efficiency.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE

·  Education:

·  Minimum Requirement: High school diploma or equivalent required.

·  Experience:

·  Preferred: 1 years of warehouse experience highly preferred.

·  Qualifications:

·  Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of food safety standards, cGMPs, and warehouse compliance procedures.

·  Process Management: Ability to manage warehouse processes and follow established procedures.

·  Team Leadership: Ability to work collaboratively and provide support to fellow team members.

·  Adaptability: Ability to work in environments with extreme indoor/outdoor temperatures and elevated noise levels.

·  Reliability: Demonstrated dependable attendance and consistent work performance.

·  Organization Skills: Strong organizational habits and attention to detail.

·  Material Handling: Proficiency in operating manual and electric pallet jacks.

·  Independence & Collaboration: Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

·  Time Management: Strong ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

·  Certification: Forklift certification preferred.

·  Computer & Recordkeeping Skills: Proficiency in typing and recordkeeping for accurate inventory tracking.

·  Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for prolonged periods and maintain physical activity throughout the shift.

·  Lifting Requirements: Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

·       Activity Level: Requires consistent physical activity, including standing, walking, lifting, and bending.

·       Weight Handling: Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds regularly.

·       Endurance: Capable of working extended periods on foot in a fast-paced environment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

·       Facility Conditions: Work may be performed in both temperature-controlled and non-climate-controlled areas.

·       Noise Level: Exposure to loud machinery and warehouse equipment is common.

·       Safety Protocols: Must follow established safety and GMP procedures at all times.
