Location: Racine, WI
Compensation: Up to $30/hr (based on experience)
Shifts: 1st & 2nd
You clock in, review your work instructions, and load the first job of the day. A quick blueprint check confirms key dimensions. You verify your tools, make any needed offsets, and the first part is off the mill within minutes. Between cycles, you inspect features with precision measuring tools, adjust an insert when needed, and keep the machine running to hit production targets. By mid-shift, you switch to a lathe job, perform a tool change, and maintain quality standards. Before you wrap up, you tidy the work area so the next run starts just as smoothly.
What you’ll do- Run CNC mills and lathes to meet production goals
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and replace inserts as required
- Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
- Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment
- Maintain quality and production standards
- Keep the work area clean and organized
- Previous experience as a CNC operator or CNC machinist
- Background with tool changes and offsets (preferred)
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Up to $30/hr based on experience
