Project Focus
- Wisconsin DOT infrastructure project
- Transportation-focused work (roadways, highways, infrastructure improvements)
- Long-term, multi-year assignment in the Madison area
Responsibilities
- Perform construction inspection on DOT projects to ensure compliance with plans and specifications
- Verify field conditions, measurements, and quantities
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders
- Document daily progress, field reports, and project updates
- Assist with surveying layout and field verification as needed
- Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained on-site
Qualifications
- Experience in construction inspection, surveying, or civil field work
- Familiarity with DOT standards and specifications (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and plans
- Experience with Civil 3D
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Comfortable working in the field on active construction sites
