Fire Protection Sales / Estimator / Project Manager
Location: Naperville, IL
Overview
We are partnered with a growing organization seeking an Account Manager to drive revenue and manage projects across the fire sprinkler space.
This is a high-impact, revenue-generating role where success is measured by your ability to build relationships, win work, and manage projects from start to finish.
The ideal candidate is someone who understands the fire protection industry and thrives in a role where they can sell, estimate, and run their own work.
Key Responsibilities
- Estimate, sell, and manage fire sprinkler projects across service, tenant improvement, and commercial work
- Develop and expand sales opportunities within the Fire Protection market across Chicago and Northern Indiana
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, owners, and existing clients
- Manage the full lifecycle of projects from initial bid through completion
- Follow up on bids, close work, and ensure consistent project pipeline
- Identify and pursue crossover opportunities within mechanical, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, and industrial divisions
- Grow and manage existing client relationships while actively developing new business
What Success Looks Like
- Proven ability to generate $1M–$3M in annual sales revenue
- Consistently wins and manages profitable work
- Builds long-term client relationships that lead to repeat business
- Takes ownership of both the sales process and project execution
Qualifications
- Experience in fire sprinkler / fire protection estimating, sales, or project management
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, takeoffs, and project costing
- Proven track record of selling and managing projects
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to operate independently
