We are seeking a full-time Medical Biller for an on-site position at our Englewood, CO office. The Medical Biller will be responsible for handling billing operations, including claim submissions, resolving insurance denials, and coordinating with Medicare and Medicaid. Daily tasks include reviewing patient accounts for accuracy, applying knowledge of medical terminology, and ensuring compliance with billing codes such as ICD-10. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date records and consistent communication with clients and insurance companies to facilitate efficient reimbursements.
- Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology and understanding of ICD-10 coding
- Experience managing insurance claims, including Medicaid and Medicare processes
- Ability to handle denials and appeals effectively
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in medical billing software and Microsoft Office
- Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and healthcare compliance standards
