What Is a Budtender?
In our boutique cannabis store, a Budtender isn't just someone behind a counter—you are a curator, a guide, and a host. Think of yourself as part sommelier, part lifestyle concierge. You bring the ultimate vibe check to the shop floor: welcoming, intuitive, deeply knowledgeable, and entirely obsessed with creating a bespoke, high-end experience for every guest who walks through our doors.
This isn't just a retail job—it’s an immersive experience. You will be trained directly by industry-leading brands, gaining exclusive product knowledge, insider insights, and hands-on professional growth that will set you up for long-term success in the cannabis space.
What You’ll Do
- Guide & Educate: Help customers navigate our curated menu, matching them with the exact strains, formats, and brands that fit their vibe.
- Represent Top Tier Brands: Act as a knowledgeable ambassador for industry-leading cultivators and creators.
- Create Great Experiences: Deliver exceptional, welcoming, and compliant customer service from the moment guests walk through the door.
- Keep the Floor Flowing: Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant retail environment.
- All-Hands Teamwork: As a growing small business, we wear many hats. From time to time, you may be asked to perform similar or complementary duties to support the team and keep operations running smoothly based on daily business needs.
What We’re Looking For
- Knowledge of the Plant: A solid, foundational knowledge and genuine appreciation of the plant is an absolute must.
- Experience (Preferred): Previous cannabis background or relevant retail/hospitality experience is a big plus, but an eagerness to learn goes a long way!
- Reliable Transportation: You must have dependable transportation to and from work reliably and on time.
- Weekend Availability: Must be available to work weekends (shifts are required on peak retail days).
- Age Requirement: Must be 21 years of age or older (compliance is a must!).
- The Vibe: Outgoing, eager to learn, professional, adaptable, and genuinely excited about cannabis culture and community.
Why Join Us?
- Exclusive Brand Training: Learn directly from top industry reps and brand founders.
- Industry Growth: Build real connections and open doors to a long-term career in cannabis.
- Great Team Culture: Work alongside a passionate, supportive crew who loves what they do.
